Hey guys, its your Social Introvert Dad here. Today, I’m coming at you with a quick review of the book: Social Marketing No Money No Experience No Problem How to Make it Big by Clif Braun (affiliate link).

First off, wow, what a title. If this massive title was meant to indicate the massive amount of value contained within, it definitely hit the mark! Social Marketing is a self-improvement book based on the profession of Network Marketing. The book’s author is a man that has experienced PLENTY of success and struggles within the profession.

It’s broken up into 2 subjects: “how-to.” And as I call it “my track record” although not perfectly segmented. Throughout Braun highlights his start, high points, and low points. Also throwing in tips he’s picked up throughout his 17+ year career.

Now that I got the boring part out of the way let me tell you why you need this book. Particularly if you are a network marketer or have thought of getting in to the profession. If you didn’t know not long after the internet became a place were businesses could thrive, a strange creature appeared. The internet guru, an “expert” at helping you achieve your goals in an aspect of your life. The problem with gurus is that MOST have never achieved the level of success that they claim they can help you achieve.

Online gurus are known to offer training courses and books on how to have massive success. Sometimes they claim they can help you hit 6 even 7 figure incomes if you follow their “proven” plan. Problem is they have never done what they are teaching you to do. Most haven’t even had a substantial network marketing career. Most make their money selling their “system” not promoting their product/service. So how the how hell can they offer you advice on increasing your results? Further how can they charge you for it?! It’s unethical. Also its just sad to see people get scammed out of their hard earned money. For some this is enough for them to leave the profession and never come back.

The great thing about this book is that Clif is no “guru.” Clif actually knows what the hell he is talking about and has hit a 7 figure income in multiple companies. He has also built his own company from the ground up. This book will cut your learning curve down quite a bit. So if you’re a newcomer or if you’ve been a network marketer and haven’t achieved a ton of success, don’t sleep on it. This book will be the launch pad to get you to the next level.

I don’t want to spoil the book for you but his insight on team building and growing is priceless. Just take what is within this book and PUT IT INTO ACTION. Your business will change over the course of a few months, weeks or (for a special person that goes all out) days! I’m 100% confident after reading this book that it’ll make a huge impact on your business. From talking to people, to inviting, to what to do before during and after an even to closing, training, and growing a team. Clif has your back start to finish.

“You are the magic” – Clif Braun

I loved so much about the book that I would need to write another review talk about everything. Don’t worry I did my best to condense it into a bite sized chunk and left most of the discovery up to you. The first thing I noticed was the readability. Anyone who has ever heard Clif speak will tell you that he is a master storyteller, this skill translates into this book as well. Often, I found it hard to put it down, finishing the book cover to cover in less than 3 days. The text is a decent size and you don’t have to have a law degree to understand what he is talking about. Also, it’s not a terribly long book like Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill (affiliate link). If you read about 10 pages a day you’ll finish in just over half a month. And it’s filled with quotables if you like to post motivational quotes on social media.

Only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t read this book back when I first got in to network marketing. I probably would have kept going with it. The last chapter “From Zero to Hero… Again” really spoke to me as him being transparent with his failures. It helped me not look at my own failures in such a negative light. He’s inspired me to take another look at the industry and find a company that resonates with my values.

All in all, I loved this book. With the way Clif blends storytelling with teaching and training I would EASILY recommend it to even the most seasoned leader. This profession is self-improvement based so we have to learn to get better everyday. Do yourself a huge favor pick up this book. If you can afford it pick up a few copies for your current and future team members as well, you won’t regret it!
